New Balance...

This is not a brand this area just stumbled or a brand that just became trendy. For DC/MD, from suburb to hood, this is a classic brand and has been for YEARS. This is before the multiple collaborations birthed by various Japanese companies that gave NB a significant push into todays footwear market. This area in particular has always been a true fan to the New Balance classic footwear line. Even to this day and the evolution of New Balance, I know many natives that refuse to step into any colorway other than the classic grey tones. I figure it would only be right to give our area readers a more in depth look into the life of New Balance.

New Balance Made in USA

New Balance are one of a small group of apparel and footwear companies still manufacturing in the USA. While there’s been some talk of late around footwear manufacturing in Africa, and its positive nature, you still can’t beat a company still manufacturing in its hometown, controlling the quality beyond any other method and generally supporting its own community. This video showcases the philosophy of New Balance Skowhegan, Maine factory off the back of the newly released New Balance 998 and 996 for Spring 2010.

Judah has been a LONG time friend of the folks here at RMJ and never does he release project that dont bang. Not only are we well acquainted with his talents in producing, but just being an artist in general. His latest offerings is inspired by the latest pop icon/eye candy Amber Rose and is entitled, The Arts : Amber Rose Instrumentals. Going beyond just releasing a compilation of his latest instrumental, he also offers a visual aspect that works very well with the soundtrack. Check it out.
