Street Etiquette: Genesis of Style...

As I trekked the streets of NY one Saturday morning, met up with a friend, had breakfast at Le Petite Cafe, checked out a few spots (Uniqlo, J.Crew Mens shop, Blue In Green, Nike Mercer, Nom De Guerre, Supreme, ect), and then decided to give my boy Theo Martins a buzz as well as Joshua. Can we say perfect timing? Once I was able to get in contact with them, to my surprise, Joshua was in the middle of a small project he was doing for Street Etiquette. I was pretty excited to 1, finally meet these progressive minds that I had been keeping in contact with for sometime now and 2, being able to catch them and others in their element. It is not often you can connect with the people that inspire you, so believe me, this was a joyous occasion for me. Not only was I able to observe Joshua do his thing, I was also able to meet the talented TONE. I blogged about him and the small video he did with the gorgeous Alexandra Esteves a little while ago, and meeting him in person was also dope and he is a really cool guy. Me, I stayed in the shadows just so I can observe everyone at work and I must say, the energy was at an all time high. Everyone there loved what they do, and they do it with a certain sense of style and grace. You may not agree with certain details of each persons craft, but you cannot take away the passion they bestow in their work. They get shit done and I loved the short time spent.

STUSSY DC x Eric Elms...

STUSSY DC commissioned New York based artist Eric Elms, to do a series of t-shirts. Here are the 1st two tees from the series. I am sure any DC native will love the “Chocolate City” tee especially.
