superhookah that hoe...

i smoked hookah for the first time last week. and all ive been doing is thinking about girls that look like this….

7:41 am before appointment....

Goodmorning.

Past couple days have been work filled. nothing “spectacular” had evolved as far as events or outings. so the simple things in life will suffice for the time being.

Well, been reading The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, and 1st, I will be completely honest, I do not read much. I think I just started to because I actually found a few books worth reading. For me, my interest level must be at its peak in order for me to sustain a consistent reading patern. In saying that, this law, “Law 2″ really took a hold of me. Law 2 is, “Never Put to Much Trust in Friends, Learn how to Use Enemies”

“Judgement:

Be wary of friends-they will betray you more quickly, for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical. But hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend, because he has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies. If you have no enemies, find a way to make them.”

One of lifes harsh truths. In general, I think this law or unwritten rule, is disregaurded frequently. Poeple tend to lean on what they are comfortable with instead of seaking out who can get the job done. In certain situations, its a natural reaction to want to help a close friend rather then a stranger. The law does seem a bit strict and demanding, but thats how business is in this day and age, very cut throat. Throughout the reading, it gives much historical evidence as to why this is such a vital law to live by, such as, facts of deceit and enemies working to ones favor. Although, the law does have its balance in judgment. In closing, it states that there are times when friends can be of much more use than enemies, the problem is, very seldom are people able to make that wise decision as to when they are needed. Short reading, but might be one of the most effective in business (sometimes life).

household:

After a successful year of the house being rebuilt top to bottom, many things get lost, or things that were lost prior to, happen to pop up, or your foreign parent decided he needed a t-shirt to work in and since its made of cotton, psshhhhh I dont need it, let me use it.

SHAKING MY DAMN HEAD!!!

caught my father red handed sporting my Supreme “Dead Presidents” tee.

OHHHHHH THE NERVE!!!

the shirt means alot on two accounts, I like Supreme alot and for a while, and Dead Presidents happens to be my favorite movie of all time, soundtrack included! So, I did what anyone else would do, brought that bitch back to life.

:)

last but not least.

im being taken to see Mr. Fiasco next week. would you believe me if I told you I havent even heard the album? oh well…better late then never…

leave with a track and something to live by…

1. Hi-Tek feat. Dion, Bun-B, Devin The Dude, and Pretty Ugly – So Tired

2. “Never let the presence of enemies upset you-you are far better off with a declared opponent or two then not knowing where your real enemies lie. The man of power welcomes conflict, using enemies to enhance repuatation as a surefooted fighter who can be relied upon in times of uncertainty”

many will misunderstand and misuse that, but the ones who get it will prosper…

have a good day.

BLAIRWITCH PROJECT: CITY SERIES...

Friday. cool day of work, went by quick and easy. those are the good days, the days I appreciate the most. Being that work took over most of the day, we can fast forward to deciding to see a movie on a friday night. typical event for a typical night. FUCK PAYING FOR THEATRE FOOD!!! so I dont have much time left, and dont really feel like spending money. so, think…10 minutes.

best damn 10 minute meal I ever had. and served its purpose.

decided to keep it simple. quick throw on.

TNF nse : Uniqlo : Lee Gold Label : Visvim (ahhhh fuck it, couldnt help it :) )

on the way to the movies to meet up with some friends, stopped by the verizon store to pick up some clothes for the Voyi (Voyager) lol. i really like this phone, tried the gps system tonight and worked like a charm. this phone is very nice. still need some getting used to. but check this, Keith Haring wallpaper installed in the phone already? well ill be damned, verizon knows their shit. For all those who dont know who he is, google him, you have seen his work EVERYWHERE!!! very iconic artist.

Movie for the night:

why did I agree to see this movie? i dont know…dont get me wrong, there is alot of laughs, but it didnt really grab me as a whole cause it wasnt meant to be a comedy. i def could have waited for the dvd. thats why I titled this blog what it is, cause thats what it reminded me of. smh.

Snow day for updates…...

Finally.

beautiful day.

usually, people hate these days but me personally, I like these days. These days help you relax and enjoy a beautiful view. Stay indoors and reflect, maybe expand your knowledge or site of imagination with a good book. Get away from lifes bullshit, or even find ways to sort it out properly. Thats what I use these days for…

day at a glance.

woke up to do laundry bumpin:

Pete Rock “Soul Survivor II” one of the greats…while doing laundry…

recieved these bad boys in the mail. Visvim G.Line Kiefer Two-tone sz10. People who know me well, know that Visvim is basically one of my favorite (new) brands to date. They have been out for a short while and is a very sought after brand in more so high-end streetwear (japanese). Creator, Hiroki Nakamura, has been able to recreate alot of classic sillouettes in footwear and clothing, modifying it to give consumers a more high end and tasteful product. Paying attention to detail will do you no justice in appreciating what goes on in creating such a product. I am not going to say Visvim is the greatest of all time, but hands down the most consistant. So believe I am extremely happy with this purchase. Visvim takes you on a visual journey from the details of the box to the construction of the shoe.

Something special on a snowy day. Pretty happy about that…in previous post, our contributor Dan pointed out a key piece in everyones wordrobe, “the plain t-shirt.” In saying that, I am trying some new plain tee’s produced and packaged nicely by Uniqlo. Straying away from the usual Polo package tees.

wore one for the day. pretty comfy tees.

moving on. so a good friend of mine let me use her iphone while I wait for my phone to arrive. So I have been playing around with the phone and its pretty cool. The features are dope and very useful. Still not fond of th e key pad being touch, but it works out.

Then another goodie came finally. The Voyager…

update on this later though. Havnt even broke it out the package.

well thats about it. The day will end with The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Green.

then a good movie. Then tommorow brings back life…and im back at work…

 enjoi.

WALE :: LIL WAYNE :: RMJ :: IBIZA...

So.

Nike decides to throw a party in commemoration for the Nike Boots movement (started by DC just to throw that out there) and Wale’s heavy contribution to the sneaker and its heavy following. The song “Nike Boots”, produced by Osinachi and Remix featuring Lil Wayne, is getting an ear full of air play throughout many radio stations. It was a spectacular show, Wale and UCB performed alotta classics, and Lil Wayne really knows how to put on a solid show.

Unofficial Video For Kanye West’s Bittersweet (Feat. John Mayer & Keyshia Cole).

Dope Video.

And it was accomplished with NO budget and independently of the artists.

Mr. West should think about making this the official.

Shout out to Rogue Lion Films for an appreciated recording.
