R.I.P. The Notorious B.I.G....

If you love music and it makes you feel good. You MIGHT want to check this event out with the big homies Alizay, IllWill, and Jerome Baker the 3rd

ILL SLOGAN
This past Monday we were lucky enough to be invited to the New Zealand Embassy, on behalf of The Fif who were providing the smooth tunes for the evenings festivities. The band consists of dope musicians from the DC area, including our big homies, Awthentik/CidXL.
Early on the crowd began filling, in as they had multiple open bars set up
The passion fruit mix was our favorite since there were no mango options.
The layout of the New Zealand embassy was amazing. Dark wood everywhere, as well as full grown trees tossed up in every corner. You really felt like you were in New Zealand for the evening, or maybe that was the 42 Below running its course. But I guess they had to give you the full New Zealand ambiance since you are technically there when on embassy grounds, and must follow the countries laws when inside.
As the night went on, it began to get a little more crowded. The h’orderves that were served were fanatstic as well. Check out the gigantic national trees behind the band.
Sorry for the crappy pics, the regular camera was left at home, which resulted in using the BB9700 :\
Here is the 42 Below Ice Bar setup, where some of the best bartenders from around the DC metro area were brought to go head to head with their best 42 Below concoctions. The winner received a fully paid, trip for two, to New Zealand, where they would compete with other bartenders from around the globe, for a chance to have their drink distributed by 42 Below.
As you can see the embassy got way more packed as the night went on. I guess free drinks, free food, and great music can do that to a place.
Again it was a great event that we were excited to be a part of.

Our good friend J. Ferb has granted us access to his latest project run 2 the S U N. Picture this as his brief introduction to the world before he releases his initial body of work Chase the Dreams, not the Competition. run 2 the S U N is a compilation of new (and old music) from J. Ferb which features carefully chosen, melodic beats with lyricism you usually don’t expect from an emcee originating from the south (Memphis, TN to be exact).
With that being said, RMJ proudly presents:
